Liverpool city centre has many options for Eating Out as well as for Pre Packed meals. The small business district is crammed with large offices and the sandwich shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and delis which serve them. The majority of places to grab a bite to each at lunch frequented by hungry workers is around the castle street area, which the other areas in the centre such as Liverpool One, Church Street and Bold street more frequently serving shopper and tourists.

There is no questions that Liverpool has one of the most diverse cultures in the UK and finding a place for lunch will no be a problem. However if your looking for something a little special for lunch then we've got just the place. Early in January 2012 we sent out team of office workers out onto the streets of Liverpool and told them to find the best value lunch for under a fiver. There were a couple of fails, however amongst the soup, bakerys, greggs, hampsons and Henrys Pie shop there were some good venues:

A very popular and well reviewed Italian restaurant popular with local office workers at lunch time. The the lunch time menu is very reasonable making it perfect for a quick sit down lunch, the food is consistently excellent as is the service.
