Some of the poshest places to eat out are located down the famous castle street. Here you can find a range of fine dining venues as well as more sophisticated eating out options. If you walk north there are many well established and popular restaurants with swift service which are perfect for the occasionally lunch treat.
Castle street
A very popular and well reviewed Italian restaurant popular with local office workers at lunch time. The the lunch time menu is very reasonable making it perfect for a quick sit down lunch, the food is consistently excellent as is the service.

Castle street
This is not a halal option for lunch. Specialising in real Welsh yews, this tiny restaurant is somewhat limited on it menu choice. No options for vegetarians, its litterally just Yew, cooked in around 12 different ways in a range of sauces. If your going to be eating out and fancy Yew then you want to visit the place. In summary a nice eating out option but liited menu means it is not for everyone.

Western Quarter
This is one hot hot hot place. An american style diner where hot sauce is the dish of the day, every day. Flaming hot oofer a unique experience for eating out at lunch time. Have your meat (or Quorn) flame grilled right in front of you, add a dash of hot sauce and you've got one tasty meal. It reminds us of Tapas, but with flame grilled meat. This is our pick of eating out options in Liverpool. With dishes starting at £1.50 its a absolute bargain.

Rods Hods Dog Kitchen not surprisingly has a variety of hot dogs but also burgers and take away asian food.

This is a rantastic little restaurant that is a quick walk from the Western Area of the city center.
There are no surprises and a tip is included in the cost of each meal so you pay what you see whilst still knowing that your tipping the waiter.
This is our star pick - if your going to Liverpool you much visit this restaurant! You'll definitly eat a good lunch here!
